To implement database or template customization for users' demands, you usually need to dynamically and automatically add design elements, such as an agent, a view, or a folder, to existing databases, or to modify existing design elements in the database. Domino XML Language (DXL) is an XML representation of IBM Lotus Domino data and design elements that provides a great way to implement the capture of design elements and the import or export of design elements to and from databases.
